JOB DESCRIPTION
- 10+ years foundry tooling knowledge and work experience building and assembling foundry tooling
REQUIREMENTS:
- Computer/software proficient (Excel, Word, Power point)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong planning and organizational skills
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to use 3-D software to view designs
- Ability to polish patterns, coreboxes, and mold cavities
- Ability to spot partings on coreboxes and molds
- Ability to Tig Weld for mold cavity repair
- Ability to assemble complex molds and coreboxes including
- plumbing and electrical assembly
- Ability to work with complex bill of materials
- Ability to run basic machine tools

- 10 years foundry tool design and build knowledge
REQUIREMENTS:
- Computer/Software proficient (Uniagraphics, Auto Cad, Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
- Must be able to work in a team based environment
- Strong planning and organizational skills
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to create 3-D models of castings and parts
- Ability to design coreboxes, patterns and molds in UG 3-D assemblies
- Ability to build surfaces in sheets and solids
- Ability to design functional foundry tooling in 3-D assemblies
- Ability to create gating and risering a plus

- Experience with PC Demis, Metrolog or similar softwares

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to provide checking results to customer requirements
- Ability to trouble shoot dimensional problems
- Ability to do casting inspections
- Ability to do tooling inspections
